CHRONOLOGY

1988 In his role as conductor and Artistic Director he oversaw, for C.R Records, a recorded collection of the most recent works of young contemporary composers (Sollima, La Licata, Caruso, Modestini and Cataldo himself) all included on the album “Sincronie”.

1989 In his role as composer and arranger he oversaw, for Splash Records two record album called “Picture Number One” and “Picture Number Two”.

1990 Since this year, he has dedicated his time to conducting symphonic works and opera.

1995 Graduated in conducting at the Musical Academy in Pescara.

1995-1997 He worked with the “Opera Lirico laboratory” – Ars Nova, and with the “Opera Laboratory”, istitutions both sustained by the Palermo City Council, and during which time he conducted Domenico Cimarosa’s Il Matrimonio Segreto and Gaetano Donizetti’s Il Campanello.

1998-2001 He held the position of Artistic Director of the “Sicilian Symphonic Orchestra”
